Snacks are the new black.

We’d be remiss if we didn’t admit that a major aspect of our love for traveling to Disney World is the food! There are nearly endless options for meal time and snack time. From grabbing a quick meal at your resort, to experiencing a lavish full service fine dining meal at Victoria & Albert’s, and everything in between, it can be a little intimidating to think about where you’ll be dining. We’ve enjoyed countless meals of all different styles, and we even try to visit a “new to us” restaurant at least once during every trip we take.

Some of our recent favorites were Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge for a family dinner, The Nomad Lounge at Animal Kingdom for an afternoon snack, and even Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre at Hollywood Studios when the kids get their pick! 
Even with all these incredible options, our absolute favorite way to dine is… Eating Around the World! 

On our most recent trip to Epcot, we gave in to our rumbling tummies and indulged in every snack item that piqued our interests (Ok, there were a few cocktails, too ).  Some are savory, some are sweet, some are spicy! Some have even become family favorites which we will look forward to enjoying every time we visit. The best part… they’re pretty cheap! 

Today we're highlighting our favorites from Mexico.
We loved this Pork Tostada. It's a beautifully authentic dish. A crispy tortilla, tender pulled pork, creamy chipotle black beans, all topped with a bright fresh green salsa, crunchy onions and cilantro. Muy delicioso!

If you're ready for an adult beverage, the Pork Tostada pairs perfectly with the Smokey Mango Margarita which features Mezcal and a Tajin Chile-Lime Rim. 

My personal favorite adult beverage in world showcase is the La Cava Avocado Margarita from La Cava del Tequila. It's blended with fresh avocado for the smoothest, bright green margarita you've ever had. The bright purple hibiscus rim makes this frozen concoction perfectly photo friendly. We'd also consider it a great option for a different take on a snack. Avocados are good for you, right?
