Favorite Rides

While there are many great experiences at Disney World including character meet-and-greets, behind the scene tours, dazing stage shows, most people love the thrill of a great ride. 
Again, it was hard to narrow down to one, so I picked three!

1. Space Mountain (Magic Kingdom)

Here's my insider tip: wait for the front seat of the train car.  There's nothing like the thrill of plummeting down into the pitch black darkness of this amazing ride.  Make sure you take off your glasses! My dad lost his on this ride!
2. Smuggler's Run (Hollywood Studios)

I rode this for the first time with my husband in September of 2019 and was not disappointed! We tried the single-rider line first and were lucky enough to be together on the same flight.  The next time we stood in the regular queue.  The fantastic thing about this ride is that it could be a different experience every time you ride it! You're given a job and you have to press certain buttons during the trip which responds to you in real-time.  Luckily I was never assigned as pilot or we may have crashed a few times.
3. Kilimanjaro Safaris (Animal Kingdom)

Insider tip: ride this around 10am.  Animals that have just been fed are usually a little more active.  Make sure you get your camera ready for those giraffes! Some of my favorite memories are when they walked right up to the vehicle. 

Addition: The Jungle Cruise is one of my favorites too. So much so that I hope to work on the ride one day, but I'll save all my corny jokes for later.
